'Two Wrongs'

Two Wrongs - Samana

We are so incredibly excited to announce the release of our new creation ‘Two Wrongs’ released on all streaming platforms on November 2nd

Inspired by the transient subculture of freight train riders that span across the landscape of America, ‘Two Wrongs’ symbolises humanities innate, continuous search for freedom; for a sense of release and escape. This song gives rise to the reverent and unrelenting intensity that burns inside the hearts of so many and their yearning to voyage beyond the perimeters of societal convention, in stepping beyond the control of predictability into the unknown. ‘Two Wrongs’ evokes the perpetual momentum of the freight train, scoring through vast landscapes of arid deserts, dark pine forests, illuminated mountains and stretches of infinite stars reflected in wide historical rivers. This is a piece of music that celebrates those whose devotion to wanderlust and to the direction of their dreams, is an unbridled part of their identity.

The photograph for Two Wrongs is taken by American photographer Mike Brodie, who spent four years embedded in the train riding subculture, amassing an archive of photographs that make up one of the few, true collections of American travel photography in all its raw grit, beauty and openness.
